Cafeteria Information

Meal Benefits applications need to be completed online to determine free or reduced-price meal eligibility and to qualify for other important District programs.

You can fill out the application at My School Apps by visiting 
https://www.myschoolapps.com/Home/PickDistrict.  

Meal Benefits Applications will be accepted for the 2025/26 school year on Monday, July 14, 2025. 

School year 2025-26, students will no longer eat lunch at no cost. Broward County Public School (BCPS) families will need to apply to determine their eligibility for free and reduced-price lunches 

The Food and Nutrition Services Department will start accepting online Meal Benefits Application for the 2025-26 school year on Monday, July 14 2025, at MySchoolApps

Power Up Menus can be found at the Meal Viewer website. 

Or download Meal Viewer free app.  Available at Apple Store and Play Store. 

Search by locating your student's school to see what's on the menu. 

Tutorials on how to navigate Meal Viewer are available on the Food and Nutrition Services website.

To request dietary modification, including consistency and texture, special dietary needs or concerns, visit the Special Diets and Allergies page for guidance. 

Students who qualify for Free and Reduced Price Meals are eligible for additional District programs by completing an online Parent Disclosure Form.

Benefits may include tuition reductions for Before and After School Care, fee waivers for SAT/ACT/PSAT exams and college application fees, discounts on internet services, and other benefits.

My School Bucks is an easy-to-use website where parents and guardians can pay for extra meals or snack items online.  Learn about the features that My School Bucks offers by viewing the how-to videos on the My School Bucks website, select the Help dropdown menu and select How-to videos. 

Snacks for sale include sparkling water, ice cream, Pop-Tarts, Rice Krispies Treats, and more. All snacks follow the USDA Smart Snacks rules.

There is a small $2.49 fee for each credit card, debit card or electronic check payment.

Does your student have FOOD ALLERGIES and/or SPECIAL DIETARY NEEDS?

To better serve our students with special dietary needs who require meal accommodations, submit a Medical Statement to Request Special Meals and/or Accommodations Form to your school nurse and cafeteria manager. 

Students who are no longer enrolled at a Broward County Public School may e-mail FNSHelpDesk@browardschools.com for refunds.
